Mister E. was my very first softball coach. He had the patience to teach the game to 15 little girls at one time (the “Go-Getters”) without ever showing frustration or raising his voice. He believed in every one of us and celebrated all of our victories, no matter how small (e.g., hitting the cutoff, not running with the bat). And winning was great, but not the most important thing. As a result, he instilled in me, and in all of us, a lifelong love of the game.
Mister E. was a softball coach for over twenty years. But at heart, he was an inventor. He was always coming-up with creative new ideas that would help people or improve their lives in one way or another. In the 1970s and 80s, he could only help the people near to him, but in the 21st century, he can reach people all over the world. Mister E. turned 87 this year and he is absolutely thrilled and amazed that he can share his innovative ideas with you. First up is the Batter Up™ bat holder! We hope you love it as much as we do.
By the way, Mister E. is my dad.
